Puerto Marina is a community of properties which has many year round residents as well as holidaymakers, for this reason it is impecably maintained and reasonably quiet, it is suitable for families and couples but not "lads" or "girls" holidays as there is no "nightlife" as in "clubs" etc nearby, there are however many good restaurants and bars closeby, some of the better ones are La Encarnacion, Ramon, El Patio IV, these are all traditionally Spanish/International and there are many others specialising in cuisine from all over the world,
there are a number of large community pools and these are surrounded by well maintained communal gardens, the closest of these is literally around the corner from your apartment, while it is conveniently located for your use you do not overlook it so after your swim you can relax on your spacious and private patio area.

» Murcia (Costa Calida) Region
within a short drive you have the beautiful historic city of Cartagena which has many Roman ruins, it also has a recently restored port area, also here can be found El Cortes Ingles which is an exclusive department store, within 2 hours drive is the Holy City of Caravaca de la Cruz which is definately worth a visit also within this sort of distance is the shrine of the Virgen in Calasparra which is a fantastic place built into the natural stone, these 2 outings will enable you to see much of interior Murcia.
there are 2 waterparks and a safari park within driving distance in Rojales, Torrevieja and Elche, Terra Natura has recently opened close to Murcia and this comprimises a water park with a safari park next door.
 
»  Los Alcazares / Pueblo Patricia Area
this is a working Spanish town with all the facilities you would need, like banks, shops, restaurants etc., these are within a short walk of the apartment (under 5 minutes)
The towns main attraction is the beach which extends for 5kms and has a palm lined promenade all along it´s length, the water is clear and blue flag status has been achieved.
the sea is very safe from a childs point of view as it is non tidal and fairly shallow and gently deepens as you leave the shore
it is well connected to the rest of Spain by way of motorway and major roads and to the outside world by 2 nearby international airports.

you have a central square within 5 mins walk of the apartment which has supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, banks etc
the beach is within 7/8 mins walk and you do not need a car if this type of holiday appeals to you
if however you do want to hire a car i can do this for you at the most competitive rates in the area
 
»  How to Get There
arriving to Alicante airport, take the motorway south signed for Cartagena, after approx 50 mins drive you are exiting the motorway by exit 786 for Los Alcazares, you will see a large modern art archway, park up and ring 0034 638704744.

arriving to Murcia/San Javier airport head for Los Alcazares from the roundabout outside the airport, after about 5 mins you will be in Los Alcazares by a commercial centre, Las Velas, park up and ring 0034 638704744

when you are at one of the two mentioned meeting points ring 0034 638704744 and i will come and meet you with the keys

if you wish we can pick you up from both airports and return you for your departure

This is a well laid out, comfortable ground floor apartment which is in it´s 2nd year of letting so everything is in tip top condition. The living area is complimented by a comfortable leather couch which can double as a sofa bed for that unexpected guest.

This apartment has a very large private terrace, which easily divides into an al fresco dining area and a sunbathing area, the aspect of the sunbathing area is South East so you have sun for a lot of the day while the dining area is more shaded, a dining suite and 2 sunbeds are available for your use.
 
»  Further Information / Conditions
a 25% booking deposit secures your dates with the balence being payable in cash on arrival, while the prices are in GBP we can only accept euro on arrival but we will agree an exchange rate at the time of booking. A refundable security deposit of 100 GBP is also payable on rrival and this is refunded on departure if all is in order.

The apartment was modern, comfortable and clean. Sean was very helpful and gave us lots of information about the property and the area. There was a good range of restaurants to choose from. It was busy as we visited in August however did not have any problems getting tables in any of the restaurants. The beach and the pool areas at the apartments were great. The smaller pool was much quieter and we had it to ourselves at times."
